New Links

I have added some new links to my blog. Some are people who are best friends of mine and some are people who know people who know people I know, and I've never met them...but I love to read their blogs! One in particular to check out is one of my best friends from college, Kim. She and her husband, Adam, moved to New Orleans in May for Adam to do his dental residency. They live two miles north of the broken levee in a suburb of New Orleans and thought they were homeless for a week. They came and stayed with us one night on their way to south Texas to visit her cousin, and were just in shock about what had happened. The happy end to their story is that they were able to go back on Monday to check out their house, and it was one of the few that had not been flooded! They were completely shocked, relieved, and thankful. Of course, there are tons of people who were not so lucky, and she has a great link on her website to a church in Baton Rouge where you can help if you'd like. I think we all have a responsibility to help in some way! Check it out when you get a chance!
