The Biggest Loser
On New Year's Day, as we were sitting around the living room at Josh's aunt and uncle's house in Atlanta after a big New Year's Day feast, the family decided it would be fun to do a Biggest Loser 2006 competition. I of course can't enter, because I'm going to be gaining lots of weight until April, but Josh on the other hand entered, and I'm very excited to see the results next year. By the way, they all decided to do the final weigh in AFTER the holidays next year to keep everyone good through New Years! That's going to take discipline!! I love this about Josh, but most people gain the holiday 5 to 10 lbs...but Josh gains the holiday 20-30! He loves to eat and LOVES holiday food, which makes him so much fun to cook for, but he always has to diet come Jan. 1. The sickening thing is, I can never really tell that he has gained that much weight, and when he sets his mind to it, it just comes right off faster than it ever could on me! If I gained 20-30 lbs, I'd look like...oh wait, I'd look like I do now! =) Anyways, everyone who entered put in $50, making the pot $500! I'm going to do my best to keep Josh motivated, so he can win it for our family! I'll let you know in January 1, 2007, who the big winner/loser is!

awesome! i too have gained a little holiday padding i must work off! so frustrating, but i say, live a little during the holidays--but be self determined and diligent in working it off in the new year! $500 will be yours in a year!! that will also help you get your baby weight off as well! what a great idea! you go girl! (and guy!) kuddos.
Unfortunately- not only do I gain 20 pounds, I show every pound. (As you can tell by the picture.) But no more, I am on my way to a 170 pound weight loss. Love you both!

You could enter the biggest loser competition after you have the baby! You were our biggest loser in college and I think you'd win if you entered-I want u to get that $500! I'm also glad your blog is updated by the way!
