9...
I'm in the single digits...the homestretch! All of a sudden, it seems like it's a downhill slide until week 40! I constantly look at my calendar at work and look at every week to see how fast it will go. I feel so at peace right now with where I am in the pregnancy. I feel like I can't wait to meet him, but it'll be here before I know it, so I have just enough time to take in life as I have known it for the past 3 1/2 years. I'm trying to enjoy teaching, knowing that I'm not going to do it again for a long time. I'm enjoying every second I can with just Josh time. I'm enjoying waking up late on Saturday mornings. I have a quick funny story that Josh loves to tell people. We woke up at our usual time of 9:00 several Saturday mornings ago, and Josh got right up to my belly and started talking to James. He started responding by moving some, so Josh said (trying out his dad voice), "Now James, this is called a Saturday morning. Saturday mornings are for sleeping late. Your mommy and daddy have REALLY enjoying doing this the past few years, so we expect you to let us continue to do this. If you agree, kick once." And literally right on que, he kicked one hard kick! It really was hysterical, and of course Josh bragged afterwards about how obedient our baby already was. Don't worry... I do realize that this will most likely not be the case! Anyways, this week Josh and I started our birthing classes that will last 6 weeks. It was so much fun to go, mainly for the fact that it has made it feel even more real. Next week we get to go on a tour of the labor and delivery floor. I'm so anxious to see it all! Not much else changed this week, except that his movements have seemed to get stronger and more forceful. Sunday night, I felt a noticable difference that hasn't changed, so he must have had a little growth spurt. Sorry to bore you with all of these details, but I'm writing all of this mainly for myself to go back and read, as I'm sure I'll soon forget!

Don't be sorry at all!! I love hearng how your sweet James is developing. I know he is being fashioned by an incredible Creator and Master Artist. He will be a mighty warrior in the Kingdom and I can't wait to see the many pictures you will share. Blessings to you and Josh as you make final preparations for this blessed event!
Lauren, when is your due date? I'm due April 3 so we're probably a week or so away from each other. Very exciting!

I'm glad y'all don't mind my sharing, because I'll probably be writing more...and then it will turn into baby stories!!
Lauren- Thanks for the comment! I have read your blog from comments on Elizabeth's blog and really enjoy it!
Courtney- I'm due April 15. Almost 2 weeks after you. You're getting VERY close!
Suz- I can't wait to see you as a mommy, too...
We insist you only give us more stories! I can picture Josh telling that story as a proud papa! I hope you are doing great. You make pregnancy sound so easy! I can't believe he is almost here!
That is such a great story! I vote you hold the baby to it! Both mine were good sleepers and would go back to sleep and snooze until 9 am most mornings. Hoping #3 will be so considerate!
Kim- It's definitely not easy, but I do feel blessed to have had a fairly smooth one. I hope this doesn't mean that I'm going to have a difficult child to make up for it, though!
SG- I can only hope that he will let us sleep in...I know it doesn't happen to too many people. I hope that #3 will let you sleep in as well! You definitely deserve it!
What to say!!! I am so glad that you are cherishing it all. The world will change but I feel for the MUCH better... Enjoy your close time with Josh, those will build memories and strengths for those late nights and sleepless hours.... GOD BLESS
Theres no way you could have a difficult child, his parents are too sweet to make that!
