5...

Week 34 was a fun, but hard week. The fun part was having my work shower on Tuesday after school. I had so much fun opening all of the gifts that James is going to be using soon! We got a lot of good stuff and have had fun setting it all up this weekend. This week was hard because I'm a lot more uncomfortable all of a sudden, and I started swelling. I don't know if it was the 7 hour car drive that started it, but it has gotten worse every day since. I can barely fit into my shoes now. Now I'm looking at pictures of myself at the wedding (just one week ago) thinking I looked good! I guess what gets me through it is knowing that I am just one week closer to getting to see my baby...and getting back to my normal self. I am dreaming of getting to sleep on my stomach, not having to go to the bathroom all of the time, getting to give Josh an up close hug, laying comfortably on the couch, looking like myself again, and a lot of other things...the list is too long! I have to say though, that despite all of the hard stuff, this has been one of the most exciting times in my life, and it's all worth it! This weekend started my Spring Break. Josh is taking tomorrow off so we can tackle the nursery and do other organizing/cleaning we need to do. We might even take a little trip to a town 30 minutes away that has a couple of really cute baby shops. Hopefully I will be reporting next week how much I got done this week! =)

That sounds like fun, I wish I was there to go with you to the baby shops! It sounds like you may be "Nesting?"
I can't believe you only have 5 more weeks to go!!! I can't wait to sleep on my stomach, again, too! But at least mine isn't big yet so I do catch myself waking up on it so I guess I can't complain too much yet.
I bet you look great and I hope your spring break will give you a refreshing rest....don't work too hard, relax and enjoy some time off before the baby (easier said than done, I'm sure).
Post more pics of you, its so fun to see you preggers! I can't believe I'll never see you before he comes to rub your belly!

Well, it sounds as though you are not alone on the dreaming about sleeping on your belly. I did as well. You will be so amazed how that little bundle of love can grown and change in a year. My little boy will be 6 months on the 26th and he is so amazing. From a baby that sleeps all the time and cries to entertaining himself with a toy hanging from his carrier. WOW!!!
I am sorry to hear that you are going through some big changes but you know what, it is better than having that all the way through your growing time...hehehehe
As the Lords says, "This to will pass..."
It is such a blessing to read about your journey with you and remember mine not so long ago.
THANKS ;)

I can totally sympathize with sudden uncomfortableness. I feel like I have had a really good pregnancy so far, but this last week, i really started feeling uncomfortable too. Take care of yourself and enjoy your Spring Break of rest and prep time :)

Have a good spring break -- relax and enjoy it! All of the stuff that needs to get done will get done.

Dude, I am SOOO sorry about your swelling. I did that really bad with Sam -- two words: FLIP FLOPS! Keep your feet up and let Josh wait on you!! ha

I know you feel big but I just saw you Friday and you still look great! Hang in there sister! Baby James will be here before you know it. Can you wear flip flops to wrok and keep your feet propped up?
