Papa Joe came to visit!

Josh's dad drove all the way from Atlanta, GA, to visit us this weekend! He does this once a year, and we always enjoy having him here. James was so excited to see Papa Joe, and loved every minute of being with his grand-daddy. He listened intently while Papa Joe read him several books and Goodnight Moon every night before bed.










Friday, we went out to Homestead Heritage, which is a neat place where people live very simply and old fashioned, but with modern day conveniences.



The rest of the weekend was spent just hanging out together. Josh and Joe spruced things up around our house, and while they were out there working, a neighbor asked if we'd like their swing. We have really been wanting one, so we were so excited! Josh and Joe attached it to our swing set, but we are going to be on the hunt for a tripod so we can put it in the yard.
