Last night was Trunk-or-Treat at our church. Josh had strep throat, so he came for pictures and to watch James play from a distance. It just about broke his heart to not pick him up and kiss him. He's feeling much better tonight thankfully!

The night ended with us going to Elizabeth and Bryon's neighborhood to do a little trick-or-treating. We got the biggest kick out of James, because he was trick-or-treating like a pro! So different than last year, when he was just 6 months old! He was not a bit timid wiggling his way through the bigger kids, going right up to the lady with the candy, and putting his hand out. After he got his candy, he'd say, "Thace" (thanks) and then "buh-bye!" over and over again until we would be out of sight. The most he said it to one person was about 15 times! It was so much fun seeing him trick-or-treat for real this year! I also loved going around with Matthew, Thomas, and Mary Beth. Matthew is a teenager-in-training, and one teenage boy shouted, "Your costume RULES!", and you would have thought he had just won a million dollars. It was hilarious how excited he got!

Talk about give'n some puppy dog eyes! I would give him my whole bowl of candy if he knocked on my door! He is the cutest thing!!!
Matthew was still talking about that teenager this morning!
James looked so cute! The "buh-bye's" were priceless!
He is too cute! I just love his costume.
One more thing I added.... did anyone notice that Josh is wearing the same shirt as last year... lol. I am observant what can I say.
James is just about the cutest little puppy dog I've ever seen!! I'm glad he knows to say "Tasce"! What a mannerly boy! :) His momma should be proud!
What a precious puppy!! I just love the pictures that you post of James, he is so photogenic. Glad you are all doing well.
cutie pie!!
I have to agree with Kimberly, that was the perfect costume to match his beautiful puppy dog eyes! I love the tail too! :) TOO CUTE!
What a cutie puppy! He is just so adorable:) I think that is so neat that he has his cousins there to go trick-or-treating with. I thought their costumes were so awesome too!
Lauren, you take the best pictures! James looks adorable in his puppy costume. So glad you all had a fun Halloween and that Josh is feeling better.
Kristy,
Thanks for the compliment, but that was my sister taking those pictures. The one blurryish one with my sister holding James is the one I took!
So cute. I love Halloween too! We may need to find a puppy dog costume for Sam.
