My sister just blogged about what happened to my nephew last night, and I think it is such a great testiment to how awesome our God is.

Also, my preacher, Jim, wrote a great post asking women to comment. I loved what everyone had to say and thought some of you might get some encouragement out of something on there.

Lauren,
I read about what happen to Matthew on Elizabeth's facebook page. I just can't imagine how scary that was for him and the whole family. My heart was beating out of my chest as I was reading what went down. I definitely think God was watching out for him. Love you and keeping you guys in my prayers:)
I thank you for sharing these powerful family moments...the baptism had me in tears before I even read the facebook posts. Thank your sister for adding those lest I had to bug Julie K. about the whole thing. I'm sure you have always known that you have incredible nephews and nieces, but the way Matthew handled himself and the situation is amazing.
Your sister is an amazing mother. The fact that she is taking the lead to move ahead without fear in her life about this horrible situation is incredible. It's clear that God has a purpose in all of this. I'm thankful that she has felt God's presence during this whole time. I hope she feels some specific prayers coming from GA for the family.
Love, Ann
