I had my 39 week (my last one!!) this morning and was excited to learn I'm dilated to a 3! I'll be induced in two days, and I'm so curious how long it's going to take this baby to come out! I had pretty short labors with the first two, but they say each one is different! I'm feeling good, but it is harder and harder to sleep each week that goes by. I'm having mixed emotions today as I look down at my belly and think this could possibly be the last time I carry a child in my belly! I don't think I could wait another day at this point, though, to get him out of me and meet him! For the most part, I have really enjoyed this pregnancy, but the past 15 weeks or so have been hard on my body. I'm so excited that I'll soon (hopefully) be able to sit on the floor, run around, pick up and hold my kids closely, among other things!!
This week has kind of thrown us for a loop, and has not been the smooth descent into induction day that I was envisioning. Saturday, we discovered that we have termites in our guest bathroom that are swarming (aka: taking over) the floor back there and even trying to find their way out in the hallway and in our bathroom. Josh keeps cleaning them, and then the next day they're everywhere again! Thankfully the termite guy squeezed us in and will come take care of the problem tomorrow. And let me just say that termite treatment is crazy expensive. Then, last night, James woke up throwing up (which he has only done a few times in his life), and threw up two more times in the middle of the night. I'm praying that it was just something he ate last night, and that none of us get it. If Josh or I get it, we're going to have to make the decision on whether or not to postpone induction. But, there are so many things to be thankful for right now, and I know these things are just a part of life!!
Well, my next post will most likely be with my sweet Benjamin! Signing off as a mother of two!
