Thanksgiving 2011

We had a fun Thanksgiving week this year.  It started with James' adorable Thanksgiving party, where they dressed up like Native Americans and had their own Thanksgiving Feast!  After the party, I checked James out of school, and we hit the road for Atlanta!  We split the drive between two days, staying in Jackson, and it turned out to be a really smooth and nice 13 hours in the car.  We really enjoyed our first rode trip in our minivan, which provided so much space for everyone and everything we brought with us!  Here are some pictures from our trip.

Jack was soooo excited to be in a big bed instead of his usual crib.

We spent Thanksgiving Day with Josh's dad's side of the family at his cousins Susan's house on the Southern side of Atlanta.  We really enjoyed seeing some family we hadn't seen in a couple of years!  Cousin Jayme and I are both expecting boys, and we enjoyed sharing stories.  I know our boy and her little Brody will have tons of fun together over the years!

Getting some Aunt Amy loving!

The next day, we headed over to Aunt Allyson's house for Thanksgiving with Josh's mom's side of the family!  We had such a great time hanging out all day over there, and the kids had a blast playing together all day.  We were blessed to have two wonderful Thanksgivings!

Having Christmas in Atlanta

Saturday night, we had a fun night celebrating Jack and Jacob's birthdays and Christmas together all in one!  It was a laid-back, fun-filled night.
