James today and Pantry pictures

I borrowed my parents' camera and computer for these.
(BTW, click on this first picture to enlarge it, and check out the right side of his tongue. It is still a little deformed from his boo-boo a couple of months ago!)

The before picture of my kitchen was taken with my camera, which I can't download now, but here are the after pics of the pantry.

Your pantry looks awesome! I'm jealous. Mine is a mess thanks to a certain three year old and her siblings who constantly pilage for snacks and independance inside there. I like your solid shelves. Mine are the wire kind.

I had to laugh out loud when I first saw your title...I thought it was better than "James IN THE PANTRY pictures" because then you would have the problem I have! It does sound like your little man is gaining quite a bit of mobility lately. I've certainly BTDT and feel your pain.

The pictures of James laying in the grass are just precious! Enjoy your last days of summer!

Ann, I'm wondering how long it'll stay this way! ;)

I was so maaad this morning, because I was making banana bread, went to scoop out the flour, and I saw three weevils in there! GRRRRRR!!! I filled my flour container to the top a couple of weeks ago with a bag of flour that was unopened, so the weevils must have been in the bag. I don't think it's a problem, because I haven't seen any anywhere...thankfully. Also, thankfully, I had extra flour somewhere else!

funny story...rob and i bought our house a little over a year ago when it was just being built, and were so excited to have a new house. then, when we moved in it occured to us that THERE WAS NO PANTRY. oops, forgot to think about that! should be interesting one day when i'm feeding more than just the two of us!

Your pantry looks great! I have the same yellow/gold containers. I love them!
It was great to meet you a couple weeks ago. I hope it's O.K. that I've added your link to my blog!

Page,
That is hilarious (kind of)! :) There are all kinds of ways to make space in your kitchen, though. Better Homes and Gardens "Making Your Home" (something like that) book gives great space saving tips.

Shelly,
Of course! I just added you to mine, too! I really enjoyed talking to you. :)

Wow you have more Gerber baby food than at the grocery store!
Would ya like to come to my house next and organize mine?
Looks great!!! Doesn't it feel so good to have it all pretty and organized! Did James help?
James sure looks big and adorable as always! I miss him SO much!

The second picture is my favorite! He's such a cutie! You look like you caught him right before a burst of laughter!

James is SO CUTE! Seriously, it should be a crime to be that adorable. I can't help but think of all the poor little girls' hearts that are going to broken once he gets a little older!
So I was thinking...you should come visit. James and Will could play together and you could give me pointers on how to organize my pantry! :) Seriously though, your pantry looks great. Congrats on a job well done!

Kim,
I stock up when it's on sale! James was fast asleep, otherwise it wouldn't have gotten done. I still say that James told you "I love you" on the phone yesterday! :)

Kristy,
You are so sweet to say that! I totally feel the same way about your little hunk. When you said that about coming over for a playdate, I thought, "Oh, that sounds like so much fun!"

James is such a cutie-what beautiful eyes! Thanks for the tips on Horseshoe Bay-I think we'll definitely look into rental houses. So is your pantry still picture perfect? It seems like everytime I get something organized it only lasts a few days!

James looks like his hair has turned blonde!! What a cutie - love those pictures! And your pantry looks so nice and neat - I really miss having a pantry! We have barely enough cabinets to store our things (and lots of our stuff is in our attic due to lack of space!). One day though, eh?!
