We had another great Christmas this year! Definitely unlike any other. Since we had Jack at the beginning of the month, it took a little bit longer to feel like it was Christmastime. Having a 2 1/2 year old brought me right back into it, though, and we had more fun watching him experience Christmas with such enthusiasm! James was so into everything about Christmas. Holiday phrases and Christmas songs were constantly coming out of his mouth and making us laugh, except he calls it "The Pawidays". James told us today as we drove past a decorated house, "Pawidays is great!". I am really going to miss hearing him sing, "Santa Cwaus-a-comin' to town!!" at the top of his lungs. We had more trouble than ever though with him getting into the decorations. We actually took our snow village down the week after Jack was born, because it was a constant temptation for James. Between baking night with the girls, driving around looking at Christmas lights, singing Christmas songs in the car, several nice dinners with my family, game playing, having Michael and Jilinda here for a few days, opening presents and watching others open the presents we got them, and all of the other holiday traditions, we had a very blessed holiday season!
I am feeling so blessed as I start out the year 2009! We are loving have two kids and are by no means in a routine yet, but just feel an abundance of joy as we get to talk with and laugh at our funny toddler and hold and cuddle with our sweet newborn! Life doesn't get any better than being with my three boys! I wish all of you many many blessings in 2009!
