James' 5th Birthday fell on a Saturday this year, so we got to have his birthday party on the day of his birthday. We had his party at a gymnastics place, and we had such a fun time! All of his buddies close to his age from church and Parent's Day Out came, along with his cousins, and fun was had by all!
Even the grown-ups had fun! I could have spent hours on this trampoline.
We were going higher than we looked! This brought us right back to jumping together on our trampoline when we were kids.
James is very into being a policeman these days. He says he IS a policeman (no pretending).
My family gathered back at my house for more birthday fun! We opened family presents, ate pizza and cake, and then played. My dad was in Vietnam with the Baylor MBA graduating class, so it wasn't quite the same without him. He makes birthdays extra fun. He hated to miss it, but my parents took James out to dinner and Barnes and Noble after he got back. That was great in James' book, because it stretched his birthday out even further!
It was such a wonderful day, celebrating our sweet 5-year-old!
