The biggest thing to report this week is that the nursery is finished! After 3 months of hard work, the room is officially ready for our son! He had better appreciate this. Ha! I tried to take pictures of every angle for those of you who won't see it in person. I have not been able to sit still all week, which has been good because we have been able to get a lot done, but I am definitely wearing myself out every night. Josh is always up for my energy spurts, though, because he loves a clean, organized house. Now I can finally say we are ready for him to be here. His car seat is even in the car! All we are doing now is WAITING, for how long, only God knows! I hope God wants us to meet him this week...I don't know how much longer I can wait to find out what he looks like, what his little personality is, etc! This is also my last week of teaching. I was going to work up until the day, but have now decided to take the last week before he is supposed to come off to relax. I will miss my kiddos at school, but will definitely enjoy that time (if I get it). Here are the pics:

Oh Lauren...it is absolutely ADORABLE. It looks straight out of the pages of Southern Living -- you did so good putting everything together and the finished product will be perfect for James.
I can't believe he could be here anytime now...keep us posted!!!
Lauren, this room is precious! I can just see you sitting and reading to James in that rocker. I am so impressed with your decor! LOVE LOVE LOVE the room! I can't wait to meet him! YEA!

Thanks guys!! I'm glad y'all like it...although I really can't take credit for all of it. My mom made the curtains, chair pads, table skirt, lamp, and diaper changing pad and my friend did the letters. I do have to go in there about every hour and look at it. I can't wait till I have a reason to go in there!
The room looks great, but, where is the BULLDOG?
Lauren,
The room is so cute, all the finishing touches are perfect!! Just wish I could see it in person. You and Josh are going to have so much fun with James.
I am hoping your mom will have time to call me when you go to the hospital so I can pace the floor in OKlahoma until I know he is here!
Suzanne
The bulldog is painted on the back wall...you just can't see it in the pictures. =)
Suzanne,
I'm sure you'll be at the top of the list for my mom to call!
Amanda,
That is so weird because I have in the back of my mind that I'll do a cowboy theme when he gets in a big boy room! We must have the same taste! I'll definitely call next week!
Lauren, James's room looks great! I am glad that this is your last week to work... you need the time to get ready for the big event! Take care of yourself! I can't wait to hear that James is here- safe and sound!
WAY cute! I love everything. I used the same children's toile to make Olivia's curtains and valance, and little nightlight- good taste girl! Ty's room has always been cowboy, we are just all around on the same track! I am so excited for you and Josh. Take care of yourself and just enjoy these last days of being pregnant. Its so amazing of what all is going on in there and you will have him soon enough!
The room looks fabulous!! Enjoy the next few days before Jame's arrival. He is a lucky little boy!
DIDDO ON EVERYONE'S COMMENTS!
I hope that your labor will be as painless as it can be and that the timing will be just what you and your hubby need. I will pray for you and James for the next week.
You will ALL do great...and you have a perfect place to take James...to his new room filled with lots of love..Just think of those moments when he will start to discover his surrounds and how you can tell him a story about where each thing come from and from who...WOWOW!!!!
