Life is good!

I went up to my school Friday to show James to my kiddos, and we had so much fun! I missed them a lot, and they couldn't get over how weird it was that I looked so different. I kept hearing the kids say "She looks so tall!" (because I am wearing heals again) and "She looks so young!". It really made me laugh. They were in awe of James, though. The funniest thing to me was when I was letting them raise their hands and ask me questions. One of my boys said, "What is he? I know he's a boy, but is he Mexican or...?" I laughed inside while answering that he's white, but some of the kids laughed out loud. Saturday, I got to see Kristen, her mom Suzanne, and her future sister-in-law, Nicole. We had a fun girl's/baby boy lunch along with my mom, sister, niece, and my mom and Suzanne's other best friend, and they got to meet James. Poor James will have to suffer through many girl lunches and girl talks! I am LOVING this stage right now of James' life and am just now starting to really feel like a mom. It just hit me this weekend and everything is so much better all of a sudden. I fall more in love with James every day, and if there was such a thing as kissing someone to death, he'd be a goner! He's such a sweet baby and loves to snuggle. He gets in a smiling mood a couple of times a day now and has the sweetest coos! I could go on, but I'll stop! I'm just so thankful to God for blessing us with him!

He's gorgeous and you look phenomenal. I don't think I had any color for months. Something about childbirth just knocked it out of me. I'm so glad that you're having such a great transition into motherhood. GOD is so good!

I loved seeing you and meeting James on Saturday -- it was the highlight of my fun day! He is a snuggler too and so cute...I can almost smell that sweet baby smell from up here in Dallas.

I really want to hold a newborn! He is yummy. I have been using Johnson's and Johnson's new Soothing Natural's on Zoe to just sniff her. She is 4.5, but she is still my baby.

It is amazing how little's are so amazed with babies and sometimes ask some of the most Out of the blue questions..... GODS LITTLE WONDERS.... You sound just like a new mom and I hope that it last for a long time... There truely is nothing like the smell of an infant.. I really like the Johnson and Johnson Honey No Tear Shampoo with the Lavender.... Fresh but relaxing aroma.... Thanks for the updates and reminders 8 - }

Thanks, Nic! It cracked me up how James looked about half your size when you were holding him! You definitely had the magic touch with him! It was good to see you!!
