My preacher wrote a blog on parenting, and I thought it was very worthy of sharing. He's doing a 4 part series on what you would pass on about certain areas of your life, and this part is on parenting. People sometimes comment throughout the day to add to the list. His blog is always a good read if you're looking for a little spiritual boost to your day!

Loved it! Especially the part about raising the parents of your grandchildren...never thought of it that way! Of course, I don't currently have any children, but I am CONSTANTLY observing other people's way of raising children and trying to make as many mental notes as possible! Note to self...

Just wanted to say I read them all and wow - I am thinking about printing them off and hanging them on my bathroom mirror as daily reminders of where my focus needs to be! I loved what he said about the fact that we are raising the future parents of our grandchildren...so what we teach them will most likely be passed down to our grandkids! Yikes!!
I know...kinda scary, kinda cool!
